Purpose

Dublin Baptist Bible Institute exists to help pastors equip the saints for the work of the ministry.  We train towards all levels of ministry, from Sunday School Teacher to foreign Missionary.  We also exist so that quality, affordable training can be received without going abroad. 

 

Certificates

We offer three certificates recognizing different levels of work.

• Certificate of Biblical Studies (30 credits or 1 year)
• Associate of Biblical Studies (60 credits or 2 years)
• Diploma of Biblical Studies (90 credits or 3 years)

We are prepared to offer 10 credits per term.  The Certificate requires 30 credits of work which is attainable after 1 year of studies.  The Associate requires 60 credits and is attainable after 2 years.  The Diploma requires 90 credits and would require the full 3 years.  We encourage students to decide beforehand what the highest level is that they desire to achieve.  Students can take classes on an individual basis (not as part of a degree program) and may choose to audit the classes (to attend classes but not receive credit.)

 

Students

Our Students are expected to walk in an orderly and decent fashion, pursuing God in His holiness and not fashioning themselves after the world.  Dublin Baptist Bible Institute holds to a fundamental, dispensational, independent Baptist doctrinal position.    It is expected that students would be members of good standing in churches that share that position. 

 

Schedule

Classes are held Thursday evenings (6-10 p.m.) and Saturdays (8 a.m. -2:30 p.m.)  There are fourteen weeks of class and usually one week’s break in the middle of the term.

• Term 1: September – Early December
• Term 2: January – Early April
• Term 3: May – Early August

 

Fees

Our desire is to provide this training at as low a cost as is possible.  Our current tuition fee per term is €140 with a €20 charge for registration.  This is a fixed fee regardless of the number of classes taken per term.
