The Purpose of LCS 

LCS strives to produce Spirit-filled leaders who serve Christ by meeting the genuine needs of others with the knowledge and skills they gain and who mature by experiencing the potential of their calling and education.

 

First, our desire is to support parents in their God-given responsibility to educate their child and bring them up in the way of the Lord.

 

Second, we strive to give each child a solid academic education that will adequately prepare them for the workplace. This is accomplished through the use of the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum (aceministries.com). This curriculum incorporates mastery of academic concepts, individualized teaching, frequent testing of material, a high standard of academic excellence, and thoroughness in academic work.

 

Third, we seek to develop biblical character through insistence on diligence, setting and accomplishing academic goals, time keeping, honesty, and respect for God, authority and others.

 

Fourth, our desire is that each student would grow in Christ likeness throughout their time at Lifegate. A Bible challenge each morning is designed to get the students minds focused on spiritual thoughts. A Bible centered curriculum shows how God is involved every aspect of learning. Daily Bible classes are used to address spiritual issues for each age group. And we seek to teach meditation on God’s word by requiring students to memorize monthly Bible passages.  

In the end we hope to help parents, produce a student who is academically sound, with Biblical character, who will live a Christ-like life.
