Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Lifegate will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home"! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

How do I get to Lifegate?
Lifegate is located on Main Road Tallaght (Blessington Road). It is accessible by the following buses: 65, 65b, 54a - These buses will leave you directly outside our door. The 77 or 77b will leave you around the corner at the Greenhills Road. It is also just a short walk (10 mins) from the Square shopping centre.
What can I expect my first visit?
Attending a worship service where you can enjoy God-honouring and inspiring music. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor David O’Gorman. The service is a little over an hour long. Also, at 10:00AM we have Interactive Bible Studies for adults. These classes are a great opportunity to get to know the people at Lifegate.
Where can I take my children?
Starting with the babies, there is something special for every child. At every service there are safe, clean, and staffed nurseries for children three years old and under.
For children four years old through sixth class there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
Also we have a Junior Church at 11:15AM after Sunday school, the children have their own “junior church.” The children have the opportunity to sing songs, learn interesting objects lessons related to their age group and Bible stories!
What about my teens?
The teenagers attend an interactive Bible study class geared towards them and the challenges they face from day to day.
Who is Pastor David O’Gorman?
Pastor David O’Gorman has been the Pastor of Lifegate Bible Baptist Church since 1992. You can read more about him here.
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don't invite you to Lifegate for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
