Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to view this page. I trust that you will be encouraged and refreshed as you view this website. Lifegate is a multicultural group of people who are seeking a vibrant relationship with God. Ireland has changed, spiritual confidence has been shaken, and busy schedules have isolated us. Lifegate provides the need for community and His word provides the direction we need in uncertain times. Connect with us as we seek to connect with God through His word.

Lifegate Bible Baptist Church has been located in Tallaght for the last thirty years. It is said that there are three questions in the heart of a man: Where do I come from? Why am I here? And where am I going? We believe that in Jesus alone can the answers to our deepest questions be found. Our focus and desire is to make the name of Jesus Christ known as the Saviour He declares Himself to be in the Bible.

We seek to focus everything at Lifegate to that end. Our music programme is Christ- honouring and yet warm and vibrant. Our pulpit ministry seeks to deal with the hard questions of life in a relevant way that shows Jesus to be the answer. We have interpretation for the deaf. Our youth ministry is fun, but recognises that youth are desperately seeking answers to life’s questions. Our Children’s Sunday school classes seek to lead young minds into the knowledge of the One Who is the Truth. Adult and Teen Sunday Schools seek to develop the inner heart of each individual to know the fullness of God’s wonderful love. Lifegate is a church that cares and earnestly follows in the footsteps of Christ. You will find a warm welcome at Lifegate.

Attending a worship service where you can enjoy God-honouring and inspiring music. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor David O’Gorman. The service is a little over an hour long. Our Interactive Classes at 10:15AM  are a great opportunity to get to know the people at Lifegate.

Your Children

At every service there is a safe, clean, and staffed crèche for children three years old and under. Four years old through sixth class there are fun, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with friendly, and qualified teachers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. After Sunday School we have a Junior Church at 11:15AM. The children have the opportunity to sing songs, learn interesting objects lessons related to their age group and Bible stories!
Your Teens
The teenagers attend their own interactive Bible study class at 10:15AM geared towards them and the challenges they face from day to day.
Who is Pastor O’Gorman?
David and Valerie O’Gorman were both raised in Dublin but in entirely different backgrounds. David was raised in a Catholic home and Valerie in a Church of Ireland home. David was raised in a working class home while Valerie was raised in an upper middle class home. When they met though they had one thing in common—neither of them knew God and they both knew that they needed to. You can read more about him here.

Am I Expected to give in the Offering?
